Every week, TajPrice scans the price lists of Iraqi beauty retailers — pharmacies and perfumeries in Baghdad, Erbil, Basra and Mosul, plus the bigger online stores — to see what ARTDECO beauty tools and accessories actually cost. For the week of September 15–22, 2026, ten ARTDECO items were listed by at least two stores each. Some are priced almost identically everywhere. Others are not: the widest gap this week reached 260 percent, which is the difference between paying 9,450 IQD and 34,016 IQD for the exact same brush.
For beauty tools — brushes, sponges, sharpeners, applicators — a wide gap is usually not about quality or authenticity, but simply about how each store prices imported accessories and how old its stock is. These are not fast-moving items, and a shop that bought its stock at an old exchange rate may still be selling at the old price. That is exactly what makes comparison worth the effort.
Here are the ten products, ranked by cross-store price spread.
1. The widest gap on the list
ARTDECO Premium Contouring Brush brush is available in four different stores, with the cheapest offer at 9,450 IQD and the most expensive at 34,016 IQD — a 260 percent spread and up to 24,566 IQD in savings. It has two-tone synthetic hairs, dense and durable fibres, and a wooden handle. Four stores means four different prices, so this is the one item where you should definitely check before you pay.

Manka Soft Linerco Sharpener Soft Liner — 4,800 IQD at the cheapest of three stores, 11,750 IQD at the most expensive. Spread: 144.8 percent. Potential saving: 6,950 IQD. It uses a double blade and includes a transparent shavings cup, with a second blade for a more precise cut.

ARTDECO Brush Cleanser — the 100 ml size starts at 13,328 IQD across three stores and reaches 22,000 IQD. Spread: 65.1 percent. Saving: up to 8,672 IQD. The formula lifts oils, dirt and makeup residue, while wheat proteins help keep bristles soft.

ARTDECO EYESADOWOW Applicator — the cheapest item on this week's list. Two stores list it, at 1,600 IQD and 3,000 IQD. Spread: 87.5 percent, saving 1,400 IQD. A double-sided foam head for pressed, shimmer and loose shadows.

ARTDECO Applicator for Magnetic Lashes. — 8,272 IQD at the cheaper of three stores, 13,500 IQD at the higher one. Spread: 63.2 percent, saving 5,228 IQD. The curved lash rod hugs the natural lash line so magnetic lashes click into place without glue.

The eyebrow brush is ARTDECO EYEBROW Brush — 9,072 IQD versus 12,500 IQD across two stores. Spread: 37.8 percent, saving 3,428 IQD. The pointed tip places brow powder precisely and holds its shape.

Sponge Sponge Age Aristo Makeup Sponge Edges — an eight-piece set that works with liquid, cream or powder formulas, at 4,800 IQD versus 6,000 IQD. Spread: 25 percent, saving 1,200 IQD. It reaches the corners brushes miss and washes out easily.

ARTDECO Contouring Brush Premium Quality — 17,000 IQD versus 20,000 IQD. Spread: 17.6 percent, saving 3,000 IQD. Soft fibres that adapt to any area of the face.

Premium oval brush oval brush — medium size, 21,000 IQD versus 24,000 IQD. Spread: 14.3 percent, saving 3,000 IQD. Built to blend foundation evenly, and it works for contouring too.
10. 
ARTDECO Premium Eyeshadow Brush brush — 15,040 IQD versus 17,000 IQD. Spread: 13 percent, saving 1,960 IQD. Soft goat hair in an oval shape for even shadow application.
What this means for your basket If you bought all ten items at the cheapest listed store for each and compared that with the highest listings, the difference would come to roughly 59,400 IQD — close to the price of a decent eyeshadow palette. Realistically, no single store is cheapest on everything, so here is how to think about it:
- Above 60 percent spread (items 1, 2, 3, 4): compare carefully. The savings are big enough to justify checking three or four stores, or ordering from another city and paying delivery. - 25–40 percent spread (items 5, 6, 7): worth a quick check, but if the difference is under 2,000 IQD, buying locally usually wins once you add shipping. - Under 20 percent spread (items 8, 9, 10): buy wherever is convenient. A gap of 1,960–3,000 IQD disappears if you have to pay for delivery or a trip across town.
Two more things to keep in mind. First, accessories are the easiest category to counterfeit, so buy from authorised ARTDECO retailers or stores with verifiable reviews — a 24,000 IQD saving means nothing if the brush sheds on first use. Second, cleanser and sharpener prices move less often than brush prices, so if you are building your kit over time, prioritise the brushes now and pick up the small accessories later.
