Look instead at authenticity guarantees, return policy and delivery time.
How to buy smart this week
First, always check more than one store for anything with a spread above 10% — that covers seven of the nine fragrances above. Second, for the wide-spread items (43%, 50% and 61%), treat the lowest price as your anchor and ask other sellers to match it; in the Iraqi market this often works. Third, for the two stable items with 2–3% spreads, do not waste time hunting; instead compare delivery, packaging and whether the seller offers an authenticity guarantee. Fourth, confirm the batch code on 100 ml bottles before opening, since Xerjoff counterfeits do circulate. Fifth, if you are buying as a gift, order early in the week — delivery times across Iraqi governorates vary more than prices do.
