Every week we scan beauty counters and online stores across Iraq to see where SEVENTEEN makeup is actually worth buying. For the week of 15–22 September 2026, ten products are showing up in more than one store, which means you have real room to compare. All prices below are in Iraqi dinars and reflect the lowest and highest listings we found.
CHEEKS AND CONTOUR: WHERE THE BIGGEST SAVINGS HIDE
Start with the colour category, because this is where prices swing the hardest. 
Red Seventeen Blush is listed from 9,500 IQD up to 16,500 IQD across three stores — a 73.7% spread, the widest gap on this week's list. The shade 09 formula uses natural pearl powder, so it gives a soft luminous flush instead of a flat, powdery finish. At 9,500 IQD it is easily one of the cheapest ways to add glow to your routine this week.
Seventeen Contour is a double-shadow board designed for easy sculpting and highlight placement, and it is also spread out: 22,928 IQD at the best store versus 35,500 IQD at the priciest, a 54.8% difference across two stores. Only two sellers carry it, and with fewer listings the gap tends to grow, so check both before you commit.
LIPS: A MATTE THAT WORKS FOR LONG DAYS
Red Matt Seventeen Matte Lipstick in shade 16 sits at 13,600 IQD at the best price and 17,500 IQD at the top, a 28.7% spread over three stores. The formula is built for long wear with intense colour, and it includes emollients meant to keep lips from drying out — a fair point if you wear matte lipstick from morning lectures to evening plans. Three stores stocking it means the price is reasonably competitive, and you can realistically save around 4,000 IQD by choosing the right seller.
BASE: FOUNDATION, PRIMER AND CONCEALER
Seventeen Cover Velvet Matt Velvet Matt Velvet Mat in shade 03 is a long-lasting foundation with a velvet matte finish and SPF 20 protection. Best price is 27,200 IQD, top listing 32,500 IQD, a 19.5% spread across three stores. If you are stocking up on base products, this is the week's biggest single-item spend, so it deserves the most careful comparison.
Primen Primer Matt is the 30 ml mattifying primer that blurs pores and fine lines before foundation. At 32,000 IQD best price and 35,000 IQD maximum, the spread is only 9.4% across three stores. Translation: the price is stable, so pick the store based on convenience and stock rather than chasing a discount.
Seventeen Matte Extra Concealer in shade 00 has the narrowest spread of the entire list at just 6.7%, going from 22,500 IQD to 24,000 IQD across two stores. It is a long-wear matte concealer with green tea and pomegranate extracts that help reduce the look of dark circles and puffiness. With a gap this small, there is no reason to wait — availability matters more than price here.
EYES: SHADOW, MASCARA AND BROWS
Shado Extra 08 Seventeen Shadow Extra delivers a smooth, shiny lid finish and comes in at 12,528 IQD best price, 14,250 IQD at the top, a 13.7% gap across two stores. Affordable, but only two sellers have it, so it can disappear fast.
Seventeen Mascara in shade 01 promises a three-dimensional lash effect from a single coat. Best price is 16,000 IQD and the highest listing 18,750 IQD, a 17.2% spread across two stores. Worth comparing if volume is your priority.
Seventeen Mascara Elegance in shade 01 focuses on separation: a dedicated brush keeps lashes from clumping and it removes easily with makeup remover. At 25,072 IQD best price versus 28,000 IQD, the spread is 11.7% across two stores — fairly tight, so it is a low-risk buy.
Seventeen Eyebrow Mascara in shade 01 has one of the largest gaps this week: 18,400 IQD at the best store against 26,500 IQD at the highest, a 44% difference across only two stores. The applicator brush is designed to build either a natural or a fuller brow look. Saving over 8,000 IQD here is entirely possible, but it depends on which store you visit first.
HOW TO USE THIS LIST Rule one: two-store products usually carry bigger price gaps than three-store products, because less competition means sellers set their own numbers. This week the eyebrow mascara, contour and blush prove that point clearly.
Rule two: where the spread is under 10% — the primer and the concealer — stop comparing and start checking stock. You will spend more on petrol than you will save.
Rule three: prices in Iraq move week to week, so a listing that looks expensive today may drop by your next shopping trip. Screenshot the best price you find and check it again before you buy.
Finally, think about your whole basket, not single items. A blush, a lipstick and an eyebrow mascara bought at their lowest prices this week come to roughly 41,500 IQD, while grabbing the same three at the top listings costs around 60,500 IQD. That is a difference of nearly 19,000 IQD — enough for a foundation top-up.
