1. Facial washes: the cheapest entry point
Four Simple cleansers are on shelves this week, and the prices are close enough that your skin type should decide — not the price tag.
Simple Moisturising Facial Wash B5+E - Gentle Cleansing, 150 ml is the best deal on this entire list: the lowest price is 4,750 IQD and the highest is 5,000 IQD, a spread of only 5.3% across two stores. It is a soap-free foaming gel-cream that removes makeup and dirt without leaving the skin feeling tight.
Simple Refreshing Kind to Skin Facial Wash - gently cleanses and maintains skin moisture, 150 ml starts at the same 4,750 IQD, but the price climbs to 7,500 IQD in some stores — a 57.9% difference for the exact same 150 ml bottle. Compare before you pay.
Simple Purifying Gel wash - 150ml is aimed at normal to combination skin. Lowest price 5,750 IQD, highest 8,500 IQD, a 47.8% spread across three stores.
Simple Water Boost Micellar Facial Gel Wash - 150ml combines micellar technology with a gel texture, which makes it a good option for removing makeup. Lowest 5,000 IQD, highest 7,250 IQD, a 45% spread across two stores.
Quick note: the first two are stocked in two stores only, the other two in three. If one of them is out of stock where you usually shop, it is worth checking the other listings instead of waiting.
2. Toner
Soothing Facial Toner 200 ml - Simple is the most widely available item on this list — five stores carry it. It is alcohol-free and comes in a generous 200 ml bottle, which makes it solid value per millilitre. The best price this week is 5,000 IQD and the top price is 7,000 IQD, a 40% spread. Since five stores are competing, you should rarely have to pay the top price.
3. Serums: where the biggest savings are hiding
This is where prices differ the most, and where a few minutes of comparison can save you more than 10,000 IQD.
Simple Hyaluronic Acid 3% + Panthenol Serum has the widest gap on the whole list: 13,500 IQD at the cheapest store and 26,000 IQD at the most expensive — 92.6%. That is nearly double for the same 30 ml bottle. It is a hydrating formula built around 3% hyaluronic acid and panthenol (vitamin B5), suitable for dry and dehydrated skin. If you are buying it this week, definitely compare.
Simple Booster Serum 10% Vitamin C+E+F - evens skin tone and boosts radiance, 30 ml sits at the opposite end: 13,500 to 14,000 IQD, only a 3.7% spread. It is a lightweight brightening serum with vitamins C, E and F — a good pick if you want a stable price and no surprises.
Simple 10% Niacinamide Vitamin B3 Serum - reduces pores and evens skin tone, 30 ml is also stable at 13,500–14,000 IQD (3.7%) and targets pores and uneven tone. It is the cheaper of the two niacinamide serums in the Simple range this week.
Simple Niacinamide 10% Serum starts higher, at 15,000 IQD, and reaches 26,000 IQD in some stores — a 73.3% spread across three stores. If you want niacinamide, compare these two carefully: both are 30 ml and both are 10% niacinamide, so the difference is mostly packaging and where you buy. There is no reason to pay 26,000 IQD for either of them.
4. Night cream
Simple Water Boost Skin Quench Sleeping Cream 50 ml is the only night product in this week's round-up. It is a rehydrating cream meant to be applied before bed, and it suits dry skin. Best price 5,000 IQD, top price 7,500 IQD — a 50% spread across three stores.
How to shop Simple in Iraq this week
Know the spread. Products with a spread under 10% (the B5+E wash, the vitamin C serum, the B3 serum) are safe to buy almost anywhere. Anything above 40% is worth comparing — especially the hyaluronic serum at 92.6%.
Check the size. All the serums here are 30 ml and the washes are 150 ml, so compare like for like.
Buy the routine, not the single item. A basic Simple routine this week: the B5+E wash at 4,750, the toner at 5,000, one serum at 13,500 and the sleeping cream at 5,000 — around 28,250 IQD in total if you shop at the lowest-priced stores.
Watch stock levels. Several items are only in two or three stores, so availability can change within days.
